chaya Hotaru (Teahouse)
For those with less time to visit the estate, our teahouse, Chaya Hotaru, is open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm. Without the need for reservations, guests can drop in for a snack, a tour of the property, and a viewing of our Kaisoukan museum of antiques and nostalgic photographs from the 1950s. You’ll receive a warm welcome whether you’ve come to enjoy a quiet moment overlooking our heirloom garden or to mingle with locals at the counter.
